It seems that the ruling class violates the constitution and walks it back a step when they're caught and simply marches two steps forward as soon as people aren't looking. There needs to be consequences to malicious prosecutors and politicians who willingly break the constitution. I'd like to see laws that take politicians to trial for such crimes

Let's face the reality of the current situation... Our Constitutional guarantees have been attacked and eroded to the extent that soon we will have none.

That is the current situation and the current trajectory, but things can change, and it is possible that this will be for the better, especially if we work to make it so. The only guarantee of a bad outcome is if we all give up, which I don't think is likely.

I applaud your confident outlook... it's one that I share in spirit if not in actual confidence. I believe it is necessary for a united front, though I do recognize one additional guarantee for a bad outcome... and that is if not enough of us are cognoscente to what is transpiring and unwilling to visit violence as a last resort on the perpetrators of tyranny... as it's a forgone conclusion that our ballot box has lost its effectiveness to wage a successful campaign.

The Constitution ended when a President was sworn in by soldiers.

The ruling class can’t compromise. Any reform or reckoning or even market discipline brings Le Deluge, they DGAF Apres Moi, there’s only now. Have you looked at their real finances? Their terror of any change is justified. They’re also completely inadequate for their station and they know it.

They’re right.

A Constitutional solution;

Maybe getting rid of Joe and putting Kamala up there would be a good idea, she could be bullied into calling a Constitutional Convention; The Summoning of the American Estates.

☠️ 😈 < yea I’m that GWOT vet.

Lord Moulton’s obedience to the unenforceable is a no-brainer supplement to negative individual rights; an undisputable must for any functional society ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you for pointing me to that, exactly the point I'm trying to make!

This is a perfect example of the price. There are all sorts of options to deal with people you detest, but as an American, using the force of government to silence those people is unacceptable. The more that norms are allowed to exist at the local level without coercive influence, the more morally acceptable options to deal with such things become available and effective.

We seem to accept it fine.

Sorry, unsatisfactory is a better word. Such a belief does not satisfy the conditions of being American.

We 🇺🇸 go on like this or we don’t, we almost certainly don’t continue with Geriatric Interregnum and Fortified Democracy. Venezuela may be able to endure this, our history and our present predicament as well as sentiments say NO.

Respectfully I will not accept that we still have Constitutional government, nor that the Republic is not dead.

It’s Dead.

I’m quite released from Oath.*

I think you know I have had enough farce, and war isn’t droll as farce. We gained nothing from war except seeing the Truth.

Now the questions;

What is to be done?

What is next?

What is practical?

To begin Who are we?

We Americans remain a Federation, we always have been since the Iroquois, we have a long history of rights and laws reaching back through America, England, Europe, Rome to Greece. All this must be taken into account to answer the other questions.

I wouldn’t plan to muddle through, the aged and desperate cowards who’ve seized the Potomac shan’t have muddling, they shall have war and chaos and hope for the best.

*If I meet you I will say Sir. I’d be likely to fight and obey others, if I meet others known to me perhaps they’re dealt with as counter parties with a checkered record.

What is to be done?

Amen

Here’s your chance on the dying breath part... nah, just kidding.

That chance passed.
